8P2-Monitor Project

Using a monitor, computer and a iPad, I created dizzy glasses because I thought it was a good idea. Also, I thought they could be part of a game like cornhole put with dizzy glasses. 

During this process, I learned how to take apart a monitor. Also, learned how to make dizzy glasses.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because I'm sharing my ideas with the world on this website.

A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the screws to tare apart the monitor. I was able to do it by asking a friend.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change part of the dizzy glasses. The reason why I would change it is because the hard part of the glasses cracked. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in mechanical design engineer because Engineering Design is a key part of that carrier. Another career Engineering Design ties to is Mechanical technician.
