7P8-Stop Motion

Using an iPad, iMotion, and a computer, I created a stop motion movie because I needed to. We are making a colosseum out of wooden blocks. Also, it will feature some Legos and hot wheels cars.

During this process, I learned how to use iMotion. I also learned how to make a circle with wooden blocks. I had to lay the blocks certain ways so it looked like more of a circle.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because I'm sharing my ideas to the world on this website. Another way my project ties to Global Collaborator is that I put forth good effort online.

A challenge I overcame on this project was balancing wooden blocks for our project. I was able to do it by laying them on the side with the most surface area. Also, we hade to find creative ways to put them on top of each other.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change deleting 200 photos. The reason why I would change it is because it back set us and we found a way to fix it. Another thing I wound change is the Lego people we used because one of them had a hole in its head. 

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in animation.
