7P4-Augmented Reality

Using a computer, iPad, and a QR cube, I created a unique QR cube because I thought it would be entertaining and fun. Its unique because it has one of a kind programming. Also all six senses are different so that makes it more unique.

During this process, I learned how to attach objects to my QR cube. I left clicked on an object and it had the option to attach it to certain parts of the cube. Then it brought it to the middle of them side I clicked and I put it at the spot I wanted it.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to because Empowered learner because I made a goal and followed through with it. Also I make choices when I create projects such as I made the choice of making an animal standing off.

A challenge I overcame on this project was trying to keep my object on one side of the block. I was able to do it by attaching everything to one side of the block so when I turned it it stayed together. To attach it you have to left click it and press attach.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what a made on the cube. The reason why I would change it is because I like the idea of a zombie apocalypse. Another reason is that a zombie apocalypse is a little more challenging and challenges are fun.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programing CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in AI engineering.
