Day 1
For this day i amd emy plan for what im making and planning questions.
Day 2
For today i started my project i am not makinga dumpling becausei dont know how so I am making a scarf.
Day 3
For this day I made a third row and I don't think i'll finish because hpw long this is supposed to be
Day 4
for today i ahd to change my project because my scarf was taking to long so I am now making an octopus
Day 5
For today I adde a few more rows and I wont finish in time.
Day 6
For this day i ended the circle and i am making anohter one for a 3 petal flower
Day 7
For this day i switched to a flower because i couldn't make 3 separate pedals in 1 day
Day 8
For today i finished my light purple flower and then I made a dark purple flower.
Day 9
For today i fished my flowers and worked on my cte
My Movie 7.movUsing yarn, a chrochet hook and youtube, I created flowers because I wanted to make something nobody else was making. These flowers weren't something i was originally gonna make. The flowers were one ideas because the octopus was taking to long.
During this process, I learned how to make flowers. for the flowers i searched up how to and taught myself as I went. I normally don't do this at home so it was kind of tricky to learn.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to global collaborator because I am making a project and putting it on my website for the world to see. If i wasn't sharing this with the world than this wouldn't be global collaborator.
A challenge I overcame on this project was learning how to do the triple stich. I was able to do it by watching tutorials and asking a friend for help. I was also able to di it by rewatching some of the video and then copy what the person did.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the whole project. The reason why I would change it is because I forgot how to chrochet thinking it would be was but it wasn't. I would also choose something easier because I had to redo everything I did the first time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the engineer and design CTE program at Hastings High School. It ties too this because I did a project I haven't done before.
My project connects to careers in chrochet pattern and design because I am making a pattern and designing something with it. It also ties in to content creator because i am showing techniques as I am going on. these are a few things my project ties into.
