Using the resources such as an iPad, a computer, iMovie and Google, I was able to create a short video about how much I have changed since last year. I made this video to share how my interests have changed or if they have stayed the same.

During this process, I learned how to do many things that I didn't know how to do before. The first thing I learned how to do is how to do voice overs on iMovie. Next I learned how to add sound effects and music on iMovie. The last thing I learned how to do is how to add or change transitions on iMovie.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to the Creative Communicator standard because I took other creative common license images and gave them a new purpose. I used the images as a way to express my interests and things that I like. I then used them to make a short video about how I have changed over the last year.

One challenge that I had to overcome on this project was the amount of time given to complete the project. I had a issue completing the work in the given amount of time because of missing school. I was able to finish the project by finding all the images on the second to last day. I also had added all the sound effects, music and the voice over on the last day of the project.

If I was given a chance to do this project again, some of the things I would change are the images I used and the sound effects. This is because I used some images of things I didn't like as much as other stuff I could've used. I would change the sound effects because I think some of the sound effects just don't fit or work right with the image they were used on.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project is connected to this CTE program at the Hastings High School because my project was a video which is a type of media. As an example, I created a video about how I have changed since 7th grade using images, music, and sound effects which all different types of media.

My project connects to many different careers. One career my project connects to is a film editor. My project is connected to this career because I used many different aspects of editing to make my project. I had edited my video using sound effects, transitions, and music which are all used in film editing. I also added a voice over which is a very important part of film editing.
