Here is my video about me:

• Using a iPad, iMovie, Google Drive, and creative commons licensed images, I created a movie all about things I love because those things are very important to me and I want to share that with people.

• During this process, I learned how to find creative commons licensed images, how to do transitions, how to do a voice over, how to use a iPad, how to work iMovie, and how to transfer things with Google Drive.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because everything I did to make this movie about me is on my website for everybody to see.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was to get the sound effects to work. I was able to do it by asking someone to help me figure it out as I did it on my own.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the music and sound effects. The reason why I would change it is because I don't think the music doesn't really fit the video but it was the only music I could find which I could use.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in videography because I used iMovie to make a video about things I like.

Using an iPad, iMovie, Google Drive, and creative common licensed image, I created a short video about things I enjoy and think are cool. I wanted to share my video with people anywhere in the world. During this process, I learned how to find creative common licensed images by watching my teacher do it and then trying it on my own. I learned how  to do transitions by watching tutorials and asking for help then doing it by myself. I also learned how to do voiceovers, how to use an iPad,  how to work iMovie, and how to transfer stuff to my Google Drive. Out of the 7 standards my project ties to Global Collaborater because everything I have done with this project is shared with the entre world. One challenge I overcame during this proce was getting sound effects to work. I got them to work by messing around a bit and watching some tutorials. If I was given a chance to do this again I would change the music and sound effects. I would changes the music and sound effects because I don't think the music fits the video and I wish i had some more sound effects. Out of all the CTE programs at the Hastings High School my project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at the Hastings High School.
