The school year is officially 25% complete, and the first wave of grades will be coming out soon. Now is a great time to connect with your students and their teachers so we can work together to support the success of our amazing young people.
Each Monday, students continue to set goals focused on areas they want to improve. I encourage you to ask your child what their goals are and how they plan to achieve them. No dream is too big when you're willing to put in the work!
Wishing everyone a restful and enjoyable Fall Break!

Dear NHMS Parents and Guardians, in the Hall County School District, each school in the district undergoes an internal review process called the Georgia School Assessment on Performance Standards (GSAPS) Visit every five years. NHMS will have our GSAPS review at the beginning of November. As part of this review process, feedback is gathered from parents of children that attend the school. We hope you will offer your valuable input by responding to the survey questions linked below before October 30, 2025. All responses are anonymous.
Please see the attached flyer for information on Scoliosis, Hydration and Nutrition.

Please slow down in the car rider line. We have many people in that area each morning who are crossing the parking lot.
Car riders are in one lane only and should not go around the cars in front of them. We have many students who exit their cars on the driver side.

If you have held a job or paid a bill, you will be a valuable volunteer. Check out our Volunteer Video to see a preview of the day.
*Parking, Coffee, Day-of Training, and Lunch provided to all volunteers!

Becker consistently goes above and beyond to help her students by tutoring (almost every morning) and making tutorial videos. She leads the Math content well by sharing resources, leading effective meetings, and giving feedback. Becker is an awesome co-worker because she is dependable, knowledgeable, and upbeat! She creates a classroom environment where everyone feels valued and motivated! She always has meaningful quotes on her door and is trying to inspire her students.
Mr. McKellar currently works in our technology department. He works diligently to fix school chromebooks, and any/all other issues that may arise with technology. Along with that, he works even harder at things like building relationships and supporting adults/kids here at NHMS. Mr. McKellar is always willing to do whatever needs to be done for the school to be successful. Thank you for all you do!
