April 2
8th Grade Chattanooga Trip
We are thrilled for our First Annual STEAM Showcase at North Hall Middle School! We have some special guests coming to see the hard work your child has put into their STEAM Passion Project!
If you plan to attend, please complete the RSVP form HERE so we can have a name tag ready for you!
As we prepare for the showcase on April 17th, please as your child about their Driving Question and their Presentation Plan! Since this date is quickly approaching, there may need to be some time spent at home finishing up. We are thrilled to hear about your dinner table conversations about NHMS STEAM!
I hope you are doing well. As we approach the upcoming Spring MAP assessments on Monday and Tuesday, we want to encourage all students to be well-prepared and ready to do their very best.
One of the most important ways you can support your child is by ensuring they get a good night’s rest on Sunday and Monday nights. A well-rested mind helps students stay focused, confident, and able to show what they truly know. Please make sure their chrome books are charged up and ready to go!
We also ask that you take a few moments to talk with your child about the importance of putting forth their best effort on these assessments. These tests are an opportunity for them to demonstrate their growth and learning.
In addition, please have a conversation with your student about the rewards day we have planned for when we return from Spring Break. We are excited to celebrate their hard work, and doing their best on these assessments is an important part of that.
Thank you for your continued support in helping your child succeed.

The girls team won against WLA 4-1 after overtime & PKs tonight! To put this into perspective for my non-soccer folks, the girls played two 25 minute halves, ending the game tied 0-0. Played two 5 minute rounds of overtime (still tied 0-0), then had a shoot off with penalty kicks, ending the game 4-1. All 4 girls who shot a PK tonight, made their shot!
Huge shout out to Challis Latta, Isa Aycinena, Karis Walters & Chloe Campbell for these amazing PKs tonight. Mack did a fantastic job playing goalie against these PKs, only allowing them to score once!
To top it all off, WLA was ranked 2nd out of all of the Hall county teams before tonight’s game! WE BEAT 2nd place!!
Mayhem is starting on the 1st Tuesday in March at 7 am in the NHHS Gym. Mayhem will be held every Tuesday and Thursday when we have school. We will run Mayhem all the way through March and April. I know a few sports only run in March; however, all sports are still invited to run all of April as well. No Mayhem over spring break. This is an awesome environment with all different coaches from different sports coming together and cross-training our North Hall athletes. We are expecting around 150 students from the high school and middle school. We will have 10 stations in the rotation. Each station will last no longer than 2 minutes. We will have about a minute to rotate the athletes to the next station. This is a high-tempo, high-energy, relentless pursuit to push the best out of our student-athletes. Let’s prepare to work hard and have fun!
