Remind is going away...
ParentSquare will be replacing Remind starting April 13. See below for more info on ParentSquare and what to expect from this new platform.
Hello Bear Family! Happy Spring!
To end March, I have a mix of things I would ask for your help as we move to the ending of our year.
Safety, Parking Lot, and Driving - Thank you for helping keep our students safe by dropping off and picking up students at the front drop off outside of the main office. Please continue to wait until after buses leave to park in front of the cafeteria to pick up your students. It is difficult for the buses to see when people are weaving through the buses to get a parked car, and it causes concern when adults are trying to race the release of buses to exit that part of our parking lot as well.
Sudents MUST have paid for their own parking spaces to be able to drive to campus. Students are not permitted to "use" a space that was purchase by another student regardless if they "got permission." This, again, is a safety issue. It is important that we know who is on campus.
Lastly, for safety reasons, our guard will continue to ask for IDs when cars pull through the front gate on campus. I thank you in advance for understanding and being kind as we train our new guard.
Increasing temperatures and dress code - I am hoping all of you enjoy a Spring Break that is full of sun and warm weather. However with the warmer weather, students may need a reminder as to the dress code. During the school day, students are expected to wear attire that covers from the tops of shoulders to their mid thigh area. I know that the open backed and off the should tops are currently the "in" fashion; however, a full tank top (not just a sports bra) should be worn if a student decides to wear this type of top to school in order to meet dress code.
Goodbye to Remind - Starting after Spring Break, you may start to see some comnunication through ParentSquare. In an age of delete anything we do not know, we wanted you to be aware if you start to see messages. More information will be shared with parents in coming weeks.
We have a few more mornings until a much needed break. Our offices will be closed until April 13. I pray everyone enjoys a great Spring Break!
I hope to see you out in this gorgeous weather at one of the events soon. Until then, make good choices, and as always Go Bears!
Love,
Mrs. Ramsey
