GROWing Better Today than Yesterday
GROWing Better Today than Yesterday
Hello Bear Family and Happy 2026!
I truly hope everyone stayed warm and safe during the most recent ice situation. To clarify any confusion, students did have work from home days on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week. Students will have a little additional time to complete assignments in the case of power or internet outages. We appreciate you helping to partner with teachers to make sure that students do indeed complete all assignments as assigned.
Specifically senior parents - we have entered into an amazing, yet emotional time as we are now in the graduation year! I want to remind you of the information outlets for parents and guardians of seniors. If you are not signed up for the senior remind, or if you put it on silent, PLEASE enable those notifications. Our grad coaches Ally Jones and Matt Gruhn continue to work very hard to provide scholarship opportunities, deadline announcements, updates, and general information via Remind and the Senior FAQ section of our CBHS webpage.
Thank you to all of you who made it out to our Registration Night. Our registration team, lead by Mrs. Micah Porter, organized and provided tons of information about in house registration as well as all of the other programs offered through Hall County. If you were unable to attend and still have questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Porter or our student services department to help find the answers you seek.
Continue to use caution and stay warm as the weather looks like we still have a few more weeks of winter ahead. :-) Make good choices, and as always Go Bears!
Love,
Mrs. Ramsey
We are wrapping up registration season. Academic teachers have met with each student to discuss their placement for next year. Student IDs & Dress Code
Dress Code is linked HERE (on digital page 11) and is in the Student Agenda as well linked to our webpage.
Please refer to Student McBearson as a visual example of dress code expectations.
IDs are part of our school dress code. All students, staff, subs, and visitors are expected to wear an ID on a lanyard around the neck during the school day. This is for the safety of everyone in our building.
Please consider these guidelines when purchasing Back to School clothes. While our first concern is that students remain in class, students who consistently defy the dress code will have consequences beginning with calling a parent or guardian to bring other clothing to school and ending with possible ISS for not following school rules.
Please consider these guidelines above and the visual to the right when purchasing Back to School clothes. While our first concern is that students remain in class, students who consistently defy the dress code will have consequences beginning with calling a guardian to bring other clothing to school and ending with possible ISS for not following school rules.
All lunchroom balances must be paid off each month. Balances carry over year to year. It is also important to remember that you are unable to walk at graduation without having a $0 balance. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call. Below is the link to look at your personalized MyPaymentPlus account.
Is your student 16? If so, they MUST have the Meningitis Booster.
Reminder: All Immunization MUST be up-to-date. If you have a student turning 16 they are due an immunization that must be on file at the school.
