Spring Into Summer

As spring begins to clear into summer, many communities, including Hackettstown, are ready for the change. Starting now, we are beginning to see the most clear changes with less chilly air and more flowers blossoming. This shift usually happens towards the end of April and is expected to be complete by the end of June once summer hits.
One of the main reasons as to why our weather changes every so many months is due to Earth's tilt. This causes sunlight to hit the northern hemisphere greater than the southern hemisphere, enabling an output of warmer days and energy. However, this also creates rainy days, which help water plants, trees, and flowers.
By the time summer hits, the weather is usually more stable and warm. People begin to go outside and enjoy the nice breeze, stay close to the pool, and on a car ride with every window down or even playing sports. This transition is important because it helps set up the stage for the summer weather that’s soon to come, but also helps mother nature at the same time.
