Textiles

Textiles subjects work with various media to design and create products using fabric, wool and other textiles.  Students make clothing products such as pyjama pants, shorts, skirts and dresses or other accessories such as bags.  Both hand tools and other equipment such as sewing machines and overlockers are used.  Products can incorporate other areas of technology such as electronic systems to make functional designs.
