In this subject, students learn skills in the design process including using Computer Aided Design (CAD) to develop a solution both in groups and individually to real-life problems.
The materials and skills covered are based on student input, and can include metal work, wood, plastics and recycled materials. In the past, students have worked on projects creating furniture (woods, metals, plastics and composites), sheet metal boxes and toys.
