Regular practices for all sports will be conducted at 4.30 pm onwards at the Gymnasium & at the University Ground, University of Peradenya.
The Division of Physical Education aims to provide quality, multifaceted, relevant, and extracurricular activities and sports programs to every student consistent with the mission and vision of the University of Peradeniya, and to make significant contributions to the overall and balanced development of the youth.

PERA SIXES Invitational Hockey Tournament-2024
The Pera Sixes Hockey Tournament -2024, an annual invitational inter-university and inter-club event organized by the Pera Hockey Family in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education, took place on March 29th and 30th, 2024, at the University of Peradeniya. -Read more

Air Badminton Introductory program and Mini competition was held at the University of Peradeniya on 30th March, 2024. The program was conducted by the Department of Physical Education University of Peradeniya in colaboration with the Sri Lanka Badminton.

University of Peradeniya clinched the Champion's trophy in the Carrom women's category at the recently held Sri Lanka University Games-2023 Carrom Women's Championship. The Championship was held on 05th & 06th ,August, 2023 at the University of Colombo premises. at the finals Peradeniya defeated University of Sri Jayewardenepura girls team.

Inter Hall Netball Tournament was held successfully with the participation of 07 Girls' Halls of Residence 20th April, 2023 at the Sangamitta Girls' Hostel premises.
