Rifle Shooting Workshop for Beginners
Rifle Shooting Workshop was held on 15th February 2025 at the Gymnasium, University of Peradeniya. More than 80 undergraduates participated for the workshop which was held from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm at the Gymnasium, University of Peradeniya.
On that day, fundamentals of Air Rifle Shhoting as a sports, history as well as some special issues such as safty concerns in this game were taught by the expers from the Academic Rifle Shooting Association. After this session, practice and hands-on experience with air rifles & pistols and targeting techniques were given.
The event was utterly sucessfull and more than 80 percent students eagerly participated. This workshop was conducted by the Department of Physical Education, University of Peradeniya together with the Academic Air Rifle Shooting Association.
