Regular practices for all sports will be conducted at 4.30 pm onwards at the Gymnasium & at the University Ground, University of Peradenya.
The Division of Physical Education aims to provide quality, multifaceted, relevant, and extracurricular activities and sports programs to every student consistent with the mission and vision of the University of Peradeniya, and to make significant contributions to the overall and balanced development of the youth.

University of Peradeniya Shines at Inter University Weight Lifting Championship 2024
The University of Peradeniya achieved remarkable success at the Inter University Weight Lifting Championship 2024, held from October 26th to 28th at the University of Ruhuna. University of Peradeniya clinched the Champion's trophy in the Carrom women's category at the recently held Sri Lanka University Games-2023 Carrom Women's Championship. The Championship was held on 05th & 06th ,August, 2023 at the University of Colombo premises. at the finals Peradeniya defeated University of Sri Jayewardenepura girls team.
