The 8th graders were tasked this semester with learning to use HTML. Below are websites that they coded with HTML. Each site will include student work that that student has made as the semester continues. The content should grow as the course progresses.
This is the final assignment for the Spring 2021 8th grade class. It is an interactive tour of Fisher. The code is text based and was written by the students using HTML and A-Frame.
This page can be navigated using a VR headset or on a computer, with a mouse. When you enter the program, you will notice a small black circle in the middle of the screen. That is your cursor. To interact with things in this program, you must hold the cursor over that object for a few seconds. If you are using a VR headset, the cursor will follow the movement of your head and will remain in the center of the screen. If you are on a computer, you can click and drag the screen to move the camera. The cursor will move with it.
To move from one room to room, either look at the text that directs you to another room, or look down at the Fisher logo by your feet to teleport to a map room, where you can quickly navigate around the school.
