Welding
In Welding, students will learn skills in basic Shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux core arc welding (FCAW), gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), as well as cutting tools. This course is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge to effectively perform cutting and welding applications used in the manufacturing and construction industry. By the end of the program, students will have proficiency in fundamental safety practices in welding, interpret drawings and blueprints, identifying and using joint designs, and effectively laying out parts for fabrication.

Curriculum
Welding is a 2 year program that rising 10th-12th grade students can apply for. Students will have the opportunity to earn multiple welding certifications such as 13 AWS D1.1, Aluminum D1.2/D1.2M, and 2F T- joint while being enrolled in the course.
