Esthetics

In Esthetics, students will receive training in the art and science of care and beautification of skin.  Students will learn about skin diseases, disorders, chemistry, anatomy, skin physiology, and business basics.  Students will also gain theory and practical experience for treatment services such as facials, lashes, waxing, make up, and skin analysis.  Students are required to purchase an Esthetics supply kit at the beginning of their first year in the program. The kit contains items that will be used in both years of the program

Curriculum

Esthetics is a two year program specifically designed for 11th and 12th grade students.   Students will take the first year of the program as juniors and continue for their second year as seniors. Students will also have to the opportunity to earn their South Carolina Esthetician Licensure by completion of their 2nd year in the program.  This program also offers certification for Barbicide Sanitation, Eyelash Extension, and Eyelash Lifting.

Year 2- Esthetics 3 and 4
