In Culinary Arts, students will develop cooking skills by receiving hands on education in food preparation and production, menu planning, cost control, and nutrition. Safety, serving, and supervision/management will also be covered.
Culinary Arts 1 and 2
Baking and Pastry
Culinary Arts is a 2 year program available to rising 10th-12th grade students. Dual Credit is also offered in the 1st year of this program. Upon completion of this course, students will have the opportunity to earn the valuable ProStart and ServSafe certifications. After the student completes Year 1 of the program, they will have the option of taking Culinary Arts 3 and 4 or Baking and Pastry in year 2.
