Overview:

The Green River Paddle Trail begins at the spillway below the Green River Lake Dam in Taylor County and extends to the Hart County line. The trail includes parts of the Little Barren River and Russell Creek and offers canoeing, bird and wildlife watching, fishing, hunting, and other recreational activities. The Little Barren and Green River are two of the top 25 recommended streams in Kentucky for smallmouth bass fishing.

Canoe & Kayak Rental

The Green River Paddle Trail provides convenient access to several points on the river from which a paddling expedition may begin. Trip times vary according to the initial point of entry and distance traveled, but range from an hour to overnight. Mammoth Cave National Park can also be reached by following the river.

How do I make Cabin or RV Hook-Up Reservations?

You may make reservations online or by calling 270-932-4298.

What is the pet policy?

Pets are allowed to stay in the Cabins at the Green River Paddle Trail, however a credit card will need to be placed on file when you check-in in the event that damage does occur during your stay.

Do we need to bring linens?

No, all bed and bath linens are supplied. However, if you are bringing air mattresses for additional guests, you will need to supply proper linens for your needs.

Are there areas to place a tent?

Yes, if you are renting a cabin we have room for tents, as they also include a campfire site.

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is after 4:00 pm CST. Check out is 11:00 am CST.

Is there WiFi available?

Yes, WiFi is available in all of the cabins on the Green River Paddle Trail.

How far in advance for any cancellations?

We require to have at least 24 hours notice. This gives us the opportunity to rent any available cabins.

How many people can each cabin sleep?

Cabins 1, 2, and 3 will sleep up to two people, Cabin 4 has a full bed and twin size sleeper sofa. Cabin 5 can easily accommodate seven people.

How do I pay for my cabin reservation or RV hook-up reservation?

Please complete your payment information through our PayPal link, ***after you have received email or verbal confirmation from our staff that your reservation is in place.*** DO NOT click this link until you have received confirmation of your reservation from City Hall staff. This is a safe and easy way to make online transactions.
