Ensuring our customers’ bills are as accurate as possible by reflecting the actual water that is used is important. Small leaks in your home can often go unnoticed and quickly add up! A dripping faucet can waste 15 gallons a day and just an 1/8” sized leak consumes more than 3,500 gallons per day. It is easy to find most leaks; however, some can go undetected. If your bill is unusually high, a little investigation can save both water and money.
Greensburg water and Sewer allows an adjustment once per year for pools.
Arrangement and payments can be scheduled with the Utility Clerk, Lisa Fields (email: l.fields@greensburgonline.com) at City Hall before the 20th of each month.
Call Lisa Fields at City Hall (270) 932-4298 for the most recent waste schedule.
No more than 6 bags per week.
The City of Greensburg along with Waste Connections sponsors Spring Clean-Up. Once a year, citizens are allowed to set out one large item on the curb and it will be picked up on your regular garbage day at no additional charge.
The City requires a meter fee application to be completed. There will be a $100 non-refundable meter fee and an application to be filled out and returned to City Hall at 110 West Court Street. Additionally, we will need a copy of your valid driver's license. If you are renting, a copy of the lease agreement between you and the landlord will be required as well.
