Where do I obtain an address? 

Addresses are assigned by our GIS Coordinator, Rebekah Cowherd Renner. They can be obtained by calling 270-932-4298 or online by using this address request form.

What information should I give to a dispatcher? 

1. The location of the emergency.

2. A description of the emergency.

3. Type of injury(s).

4. Are weapons involved?

5. Description and direction of travel of vehicles.

6. Any other pertinent information relating to the emergency. 

Do dispatchers wait until your call is complete before sending emergency units? 

No, the needed emergency units are sent immediately after location and type of emergency is known. 

How can I make sure I’m in the Emergency Alert Warning System? 

If you are a Greensburg resident, sign up for alerts with AlertSense by filling out your information in the system and submit. 

When does the Greensburg/Green County PSAP Board meet? 

The Greensburg/Green County PSAP Board meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month, at 5pm in the Council Chambers of City Hall. View the City Calendar.
