EGMS Band

Greenbrier County Schools is fortunate to have tremendous band programs at all secondary grade levels. For students in Eastern Greenbrier county, EGMS provides an amazing band program, which forms the strong foundation on which the Greenbrier East Spartan Band is built.

The EGMS band is the initial band experience for those in middle school wishing to learn an instrument. There are separate band classes within this program for each grade, the 6th grade band, 7th grade band, and the 8th grade band. Each band student grows through requirements and challenges, which strengthen them with their confidence on their instrument throughout the year. There is also an EGMS marching band that we strongly encourage the kids to join during their 7th and 8th grade years.
