Excellence (10%) - Shot Composition, Lighting and contrast are importand for your Subject to stand out, the Text to be easily readable, and your background / location to be interesting without being overpowering. Think about colour, light and composing your shots with a space for titles in mind.

Editing a Horror Scene ( Grade 12)
Practice Editing by assembling this scene. Include Music and sound as required. The Credits are Mandatory! Don't forget to add them at the end.
Editing a Car Chase ( Grade 12)
Use the selection of Car Chase footage and Sound Effects to create a 30 second opening scene for an Action Movie.
The Movie begins with the character being involved in a car chase OR Driving quickly to achieve some goal...make the scene seem fast and intense.
Include a title which whith your Movie Title (make it exciting) and a credit (your name) as the Main Actor.
Use effects and transitions to enhance the speed of the sequence.
Download Music to drive the sequence. The final project should be 24fps, 720 x 1280.mp4

For this interactive tutorial, the aim is to cut on matching points of action. Cut quickly on matching action to create a high-tempo action scene
Peer Interview ( Grade 12)
Practice the Documentary style with a short interview. Include B-roll . You (and your Subject) will each produce a short 2-3 minute interview / Documentary featuring Talking Heads & B-Roll.
