For this activity you will download the following image and place it multiple times into a google doc. You will then add a heading of each Shot Type and crop the photo to fit within each shot type. Make sure you do not forget any.

A script is a document that outlines every component of a film or production - everything the audience sees, and hears and everything that is included in the story. Writing a Script is very different than writing a story, or even a play. There are technical considerations .

Students will learn how to create titles, use text tool, and add motion to their text.
Students will learn how to create that dramatic video effects of eyes over eyes. This technique can be applied to any cropping needed.
Students will learn how to speed and slow down their clips using speed duration.
1. THE SCHOOL
Set-up, Import, Edit & Render. Basic titles and transitions.
Download “The School” files and save them to the L: Drive on the computers and build a short film from the clips.
*I suggest L: Drive > "YOUR NAME" > VIDEO > THE SCHOOL
Remeber this means you are toring the files locally on the computer and they will be viewabel by everyone who uses the computer you are on. PLEASE DO NOT DELETE OR ALTER other students folders.
This Assignment will be Submitted to Google Classroom classroom. Please demonstrate your “best” effort.

2. VIDEO PORTRAITS
A stylistic way to show someone's personality is through capturing video portraits. Use proper medium to close-up shot camera framing, along with alternating left and right rule of thirds composition.
3. HOW TO OPEN A LOCKER
In a group of 2 you will create a video of 'How to Open a Locker'.
Feel free to be creative. However, keep in mind continuity and camera angles/ shot types.
4. JOSH IS LATE
For this project, you and a partner will storyboard, film, edit and export a short sequence (below). It is a simple story of a student who is late for class, and their adventures getting there. This project may not contain any dialogue, but sounds and music are permitted.
