BTV - Booth Jobs

Booth Team

This team consists of

1 - Video Switcher
1 - Media Operator
1 - Sound Operator
1 - Director

All Members of the team Must

Read over the announcements - have an understanding o0f the order, videos and guests
Communicate with the floor(Camera) regarding framing, lighting and sound
Work quietly
Be aware of changes - last minute guests etc. be ready to adapt and foresee issues.

We won't always need a full crew, but all of the jobs must be completed. The Booth team must work together to cover all the bases and produce the show as best we can.

Video Switcher

Arrive early. Read over the announcements and help organize based on length and topic
Work with Media Operator - organize videos, O Canada & graphics
Work with Camera - Framing and timing
Begin the STAR TV Stream on time. Close the stream at the end

Media Operator

Arrive early. Read over the announcements and help organize based on length and topic
Organize and prep videos and graphics.
Preview all videos - Check audio and duration - this knowledge must be communicated to the Director / Video Switcher during the show\

Sound Operator

Arrive early. Read over the announcements and help organize based on length and topic
Begin Music @ 8:00
Begin Marching Music @ 8:15
Check all audio Channels

Director

Arrive early. Read over the announcements and help organize based on length and topic
The Director must be aware of everything and help the Floor and the Booth communicate effectively
If no one is covering a job - it's the Director's job to do it! At the end of the day, the Director is the captain of the ship. It is your job to make sure that the ship floats!
Stand at the Streaming Computer - Monitor the show and the Audio
