Below you'll find information on what we'll be doing in-class and online. Contact me when ever you have questions, and come to me if you need resources, ideas or input. It's a new year with lots of questions, so try to be flexible - I will too!
Step #1: Organization: Being organized is essential to working with digital media and files. You will be using your Google Drive so make a folder in it called ASM3O. This is where you will store everything for this course as we go. We may also utilize a website to showcase your portfolio works.

Projects: Colour Scheme Poster, Hybrid Self-Portrait, Typo/Graphic Poster
Creative Photography & Digital Manipulation
Apply photo techniques and digital editing to create stories.
Midterm Project: Creative Photography Portfolio (3–5 images + artist statement)
Animation & Motion Graphics
Explore stop motion, Photoshop GIFs, and After Effects.
Project: Motion Graphic PSA (20–30 sec animated message)
Podcasting & Audio Storytelling
Plan, script, record, and edit your own podcast.
Project: 5–10 minute Podcast Episode
Mixed Media & Installation
Remix earlier projects and combine photo, video, text, and audio.
Project: Identity Remix (multi-modal artwork + artist blurb)
Culminating ISP
Independent project in your chosen medium.
Final Task: Media artwork + Process Portfolio + Artist Statement + Showcase Presentation
