· Epilepsy is a neurological disorder characterized by recurrent, unprovoked seizures
· Coordinated efforts by healthcare providers and the community are needed to increase awareness and support the availability of diagnostic tools and treatment.
· As part of the healthcare team, pharmacists are responsible for increasing the accessibility of key information about epilepsy to the general public.

Students can improve communication skills by interacting with the community members
Students can help promote the health of the community
Students can improve their teamwork skills and foster inter-professional collaboration by engaging with their peers from different colleges under GMU.
