Testing the game with real players

Mini- Lesson Introduction-
Teacher will review the Rule Book Rubric and the 4C's rubric with students so that they are clear about the assessment standards for their games as a group and individually.
Teacher will discuss warm and cool feedback responses with the class.
IDEA teams will make final edits to their games using the rubrics as a guide.
Students will then be prompted to play each others games as IDEA teams and provide each other with warm and cool feedback. At this time, teams will not have the opportunity to explain their games or respond to any questions about their games to any other teams. The games must stand on their own.
Once all games have been played by all IDEA teams , comments have been reviewed and students have a final chance to make revisions of their games, teachers will use the Rule Book Rubric and the 4C's rubric to assess all teams games and individual student participation in IDEA teams.
