Essential Questions: How many players are needed to achieve the goal in each game?
How long does it take to achieve the game's goal? Is each game based on luck or skill in achieving the goal?
Have students discuss a change that they would like in the play of the game. This is called a 'variance' or 'mod'. Many times, when playing games, the players deviate from some of the rules to make the game play faster to achieve the end goal or 'win or to make the game play more exciting.
Have students play their games using the added modification or variance.
Have students write a reflection in their journals about how then game experience changed with the variance or mod added.
