Students collaborated in small groups to write original scripts demonstrating positive ways to resolve everyday conflicts. They applied strategies learned during the unit such as active listening, “I” statements, and win-win negotiation to create realistic dialogue. Each performance highlighted different approaches to calming emotions and reaching shared solutions. The project reflected IB Learner Profiles of Communicator, Caring, and Principled, as students practiced empathy and respectful discussion. They strengthened Approaches to Learning skills like collaboration, critical thinking, and creative communication. Key concepts of relationships, responsibility, and perspective shaped their storylines and messages.
Rehearsals encouraged flexibility and feedback, while performances built confidence and reflection. Through drama and teamwork, students showed how conflicts can become opportunities for understanding and growth.
