Year 2 is learning about inventions and the relationship between the past and the present, under the transdisciplinary theme ‘Where we are in place and time’. To stimulate ideas and understanding at the start of the unit, Year 2 did a rotation activity. Students visited various stations looking at the different ways traditional dances, music and games are shared and have changed overtime and also how inventions have involved to make our lives easier. The 4 stations were:

Station 1: Traditional dance with ibu Rasti and ibu Ashley.

Station 2: Traditional Music with ibu Tri.

Station 3: Inventions with pak Aji.

Station 4: Traditional games with ibu Rina and ibu Dini.

Students spent 15 minutes at each station where they explored and analyzed different activities in each station.
