Primary Sport Update:
Saturday, 16th November 2019 the U-12 Boys and Girls basketball team went to Sekolah Pelita Harapan Lippo Village to attend our last basketball tournament of the season. We sent one boys team and one girls team. Since we didn't have enough girls, our team were mixed with the girls team from the SPH Sentul. The girls had three matches, and the boys had two.
The girls were great, they bonded really well with the girls from the SPH Sentul team, despite losing all three games. The first game was against SPH Lippo Village, the score was 15-12 for SPH Lippo Village. Second game was against SPH Kemang Village, the score was 20-5 for KV. The last game was against SPH Kemang Village B, the score was 10-21 for KV.
Leela was playing well, she moved and ran on defense as well as offense, she got several key rebounds and passes. Nadine was great, she scored her first point of the season! It was a shot at the key, and her dribbling has gotten better too! Aisyah was great, she showed more confidence and willingness to participate compared to previous matches.
The boys played well too. The first game was against SPH Kemang Village, the score was 14-11 for SPH KV. The second game was against SPH Lippo Village, the score was 20-10 for SPH LV.
Eddie was playing great as always, drives, lay ups, and showed lots of confidence. Seong Yun showed one significant improvement, he drove to the basket more and did not settle for long twos, El was a steady presence on offence and defence. Jazell provided a lot of spark for our team as he had been doing all season, Zach played well despite all the attention he got from the defence. Arvin as always provided rebounds and under baskets for our team. Keenan finally looked comfortable and confident during matches. Dillon was always ready to contribute off the bench. Enzo was energetic and relentless in providing help for his team.
