As the culmination activity for the unit How We Organize Ourselves with the central idea of “Countries engage in collective decision-making to navigate global challenges and represent their interests,” the Year 5 team ran a Model United Nation (MUN) activity on February 26, 2025, from 8 AM - 12 AM in the MPH. In the MUN, year 5 students take on the role of delegates of countries from various parts of the world. During the MUN, students as delegates collaborate with other delegates to reach a consensus on a solution to a real-world problem. The year 5 students were Knowledgeable, Thinkers, and Communicators when they composed and communicated the position of the country they represented in the MUN.
The year 5 team also would like to express our appreciation to the members of the Secondary MUN club for their participation in the MUN held by the year 5 team as chairperson and vice chairperson of the event
A few weeks after that, the year 5 students performed during the Primary Assembly. In the assembly, the year 5 students showed how countries collaborate in order to come up with solutions to issues that affect many people in the world. The year 5 students were Risk-takers and Communicators when they designed every aspect of their assembly performance.
