Dear Community Members,
We have had an exciting, busy, and active month, proving true the expression that when it rains it pours. Since our last publication of Kontak, Global Jaya hosted Family Fun Day, Mary Poppins Jr., the PYPX, end of unit celebrations in the Primary, mock exams in the Secondary, International Mother Language Day, and many other events and activities. As a school, Global Jaya continues to maintain a focus on creating an inclusive and inviting community that has something to offer for all students.
Speaking of community, at the end of April / beginning of May, we will share our community surveys with all stakeholders: students, parents/guardians, faculty, and staff. The surveys serve as an important mechanism of data collection regarding our ongoing school improvement journey and are aligned with WASC accreditation standards:
A. Organization for student learning
B. Curriculum, instruction, and assessment
C. Support for Student Social-Emotional and Academic growth
D. School Culture, Child Protection, and Parent / Community Involvement
Once the surveys are finalized, our leadership team analyzes the survey data in order to support our ongoing school evaluation, development, and improvement efforts, ensuring that we remain focused on increasing student achievement and responsive to the needs of our community.
As for the survey, each parent on file will receive a link to the survey, but only ONE parent is asked to complete and submit the survey on behalf of the family as a whole. Please inform us if you encounter any problems or do not receive the survey. Prior to emailing, please check the spam or junk email folders. If this does not resolve the matter, send an email to headofschool@globaljaya.com for additional support. The survey closes May 9, 2025 at 4:00 pm.
As always, we appreciate your support.

The Festival of Hope is nearly here. On April 11 and 12, our school will host The Festival of Hope, a two day event sponsored by the International Baccalaureate and promotes the values of: hope, positivity, student agency, and community engagement. Students from Global Jaya and schools in the Jakarta region will join this event.
We look forward to sharing the outcome of this inspirational event with our community.
