StuCo: Junior Recruitment and Induction

At the beginning of the school year, the student council took part in the induction day. The student council executives helped introduce the newcomers of the community to the school area. This was done in an exciting way which was by playing a scavenger hunt. Participants were given a coloured ball with a clue of a location in the campus pasted on the ball. These clues led them to another ball and read another clue. All of the new students were divided into several groups and each group was composed of 4-5 people from the same grade which helped to strengthen the bond.

Another exciting thing the student council did was the junior members recruitment! We would like to announce the new student council members. The recruitment started on the 15th, 16th, and 18th of August with many students from years 8-10. The new members are divided into these roles: promoter, sales representatives, internal officer, designer, resource gatherer, and documentation. We are more than happy to welcome the new junior members as we look forward to working collaboratively with them!

We appreciate their enthusiasm to be a part of this wonderful family. After three days of the interview process, we closely reviewed the participants for their roles and discussed them thoroughly as the executive members. Every single applicant has their own great values. We want to congratulate all the new members, and those who weren't accepted should never give up because there are many other ways to explore your potential and skills.

These pictures are just a simple visualization of how much excitement the student council had experienced on one of the events because the rest of them, we will feel it together as a community. So, before we start this eventful journey, take a moment to know the faces of the student council since they will be working on creating a comfortable and fun atmosphere for the school.

On behalf of the Student Council, we would like to end this article by saying how excited we are to start this academic year. We have lots of new events and programs planned and we are looking forward to bringing them to fruition. This Induction Day and the Recruitment is just the beginning of what we have coming up.
