Have a great school year!
During the summer holidays, our primary and secondary students participated in a thrilling reading challenge that brought the joy of books into their holidays. Our primary students took on the Summer Reading Bingo challenge, where they explored various genres and completed fun reading tasks. From reading under a tree to sharing a book with a friend, each square on their bingo cards encouraged them to dive into the world of stories in creative ways.
Our secondary students loved reading and enjoying books from the library at home. They selected various books, from exciting fiction to informative non-fiction, making the most of their summer break with great reads.
We are proud of all our students for embracing the challenge and making reading a part of their summer fun. Keep up the great work, and we look forward to seeing even more reading adventures in the new school year!
We are pleased to introduce our newest after-school program, "Friends of the Library." This program is designed to encourage a love for reading and to help Secondary students get involved in community service.
Friends of the Library, commonly abbreviated as FLY, is a fun and meaningful program for Secondary students who are passionate about books and want to support our school library. It’s also an excellent way for them to give back to the community. Students in FLY will participate in various activities, such as decorating the library, helping with library events, promoting reading within the school, and participating in competitions. Additionally, their participation can count toward their Service as Action (SA) or Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) hours.
We believe this program will enhance our student’s learning experience and help them develop a strong sense of responsibility and community involvement.
The Library keeps adding new books to enrich our collections. Here is the list of newly arrived books that were recently added to the library. Come check it out!
