Message from President Kurian on the SGA website launch

Dear Hoyas,

As we are slowly coming out from a global pandemic, which we have never experienced in our lives before, the most prominent reaction is that of relief and happiness. After almost three years of quarantine and masked life, we are slowly trying to return to our normal lives. It is true that things may never go back to exactly how they were. We here at GU-Q too experienced the harshness of Covid-19. Our community was forced to separate ourselves and work from home. This greatly damaged our lifestyle. Over the past couple of months, we have been trying to bring back the former vigor and grandeur of our university. 

The world has moved forward and we have been moving forward as well. One of our main agenda was to ensure a transparent government. As a step in this direction, we are launching this website of  the GUQ- SGA, with a view to provide a one stop solution to meet the concerns and needs of the student body on campus. The website has been carefully designed to reflect on the student life at GU-Q and with an express view to answer their entire needs. In addition to answering the questions, we will also be updating the website with the decisions and actions that the SGA has been taking during their meetings. 

I hope that our efforts bear fruit and help in addressing the various issues raised by the students of Georgetown University in Qatar.
