FOURTH QUARTER, WEEK #12 (4.3) APR. 5TH - APR. 9TH

HAFA ADAI,  Amazing Advanced Band Hawks!  

I HOPE YOU HAD A WONDERFUL EASTER WITH YOUR FAMILIES AND HAD A RESTFUL SPRING BREAK!  REMEMBER, FOR ONLINE STUDENTS, THERE ARE NO CLASSES THIS WEEK.  MONDAY IS A FLEXIBLE MAKE-UP DAY.  SINCE FBLG DID NOT HAVE TO MAKE UP ANY CLASSES DUE TO TYPHOONS, WATER OUTAGES, OR OTHER REASONS...YOU GET ANOTHER DAY OFF!  ENJOY IT, BUT REMEMBER...YOU STILL HAVE GOOGLE CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENTS THIS WEEK.

BEFORE I GO ON WITH OUR UPCOMING ASSIGNMENTS, I WOULD LIKE TO TAKE A MOMENT TO THANK ALL THOSE PARENTS AND STUDENTS WHO COMPLETED THE STUDENT/PARENT PERCEPTION SURVEYS.  YOUR OPINIONS ARE VALUABLE TO OUR ENTIRE FACULTY AND STAFF, AND HELP US PLAN AND PREPARE FOR A NEW SCHOOL YEAR!  KUDOS TO ALL OF YOU WHO TOOK THE TIME TO EXPRESS YOUR THOUGHTS, OPINIONS, AND FEELINGS!  (STUDENTS, PLEASE TELL YOUR PARENTS THAT I APPRECIATE THEIR INPUT)!

As always, there will be weekly assignments placed in Google Classroom, so it is very important you check your Google Classroom for new assignments.  I always email you the assignments for the week, as well.   You also know that you may redo and resubmit any assignment we have done; just as long as the original grade is below a 90%.   If you need extra help, please reach out to me.   I will bend backward to help you.  All you have to do is email me to let me know you need help, and I will be sure to reach out to you!    My email is:  cwflores@gdoe.net.

APRIL 6TH:    

*IF YOU HAVE AN INSTRUMENT..all you have to do is practice.  You only need 150 minutes each week for a 100%; however, you may always put in extra time if you want.  I'll give you extra credit for additional minutes of practice.  You can ignore the other assignments you see in Google Classroom.  In fact, please do not even return them to me.  There is no need.  I know which of my students are on the "PRACTICE RECORD" format, and which students must complete 2 or 3 Google Classroom assignments each week. Practice Record students need to submit their practice record the following Monday.   

*IF YOU DO NOT HAVE YOUR INSTRUMENT,  you must submit the 2 or 3 assignments in Google Classroom.  Use Kami to annotate your work.   All assignments are due the following Monday.

APRIL 7TH:   Follow the format for April 6th.

APRIL 9TH:    This is Student/Parent support day.  If you need extra help, this is a great day to reach out to me!  If you need help with any of our assignments, email me and I will arrange to work with you either one-on-one or within small groups.  cwflores@gdoe.net.
