Furthermore, let us collectively resolve to champion the role of music education in our schools. It is through such commitment that our youth will continue to experience the immeasurable benefits of musical engagement—expression, appreciation, and creative development.

Racers... start your engines! This thrilling work by Randall D. Standridge combines staccato articulations, dramatic dynamic changes, and unbridled energy with accessible ranges and rhythmic vocabulary to create a work that sounds like you are right at the race track.
The well-known Jewish folk song S'vivon is featured in this rousing and spirited arrangement by Matt Conaway. Exciting and festive, the melody is introduced first by flute, with instruments gradually joining in as the intensity builds and excitement grows. Finally, as the final tempo kicks in, the piece drives to an exciting and abrupt ending.
Yes, you heard right! That's twenty carols in just two minutes! This showstopping arrangement by Mark Williams will have you playing "name that tune" as excerpts from twenty familiar carols are presented sequentially, and sometimes even simultaneously. You may even have to listen to this one twice, just so you can catch all the tunes.
Composed in 1934 by Felix Bernard with lyrics by Richard B. Smith, "Winter Wonderland" is popularly linked with Christmas due to its wintery theme, despite no mention of the holiday in its lyrics. Smith, inspired by the snow-covered landscape during his tuberculosis treatment, crafted a poem that Bernard set to music. Initially a romantic tune echoing the Big Band era, it evolved into a Christmas classic, especially after Doris Day featured it on her 1964 Christmas album. Today, the song is an emblematic nod to a nostalgic, idealized winter season, embraced widely in holiday festivities.
Years ago, arrangers Eddie Sauter and Bill Finegan did a special arrangement for their jazz band of Prokofiev's familiar Troika from Lieutenant Kije. Tom's [Wallace] adaptation of that arrangement for concert band retains all the wit and color of the Sauter-Finegan chart, which features delightful high woodwind and low brass effects. Pure holiday fun, with a sophisticated twist! Â
A completely fresh and creative setting of the classic carol Silent Night. The theme opens with a clarinet solo decorated with countermelodies created from other parts of the melody. With creative twists of themes at every turn, audiences will be captivated by this familiar yet original musical holiday journey.Â
A superb holiday selection by Leroy Anderson! Known and loved by all, this happy, lighthearted piece is perfect for evoking the joy and happiness of the holiday season in the minds of everyone who hears it.
If you want a Christmas medley of some of the most popular Christmas tunes, this is the one! You'll find Winter Wonderland, I'll Be Home for Christmas, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year in cheery settings that lift the spirits! Sure to become a holiday standard year after year.Â
