High school band and orchestra students from MSBOA Member Schools, in grades 9-12 are invited to audition for the Michigan All-State Band, Jazz Ensemble or All-State Full Orchestra. The three high school All-State ensembles will be representing music education as part of the 21st Annual Michigan Music Conference (MMC) held on January 22-24, 2026. There will also be two All-State groups for middle school students, however this notice is specifically for 9th through 12th grade students. If selected from your audition, you will join hundreds of other top instrumentalists from across the state of Michigan in Grand Rapids for this three-day event.
