Winter Guard Staff

Elena is incredibly excited to be joining the staff at Grand Blanc! She has had experience marching with Huron Valley Winter Guard and the Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps. In addition to teaching at Grand Blanc, she is also the color guard director at Taylor High School.

Chloe has been involved with color guard for 10 years, participating in fall and winter ensembles at Rockford High School as well as Legends Drum and Bugle Corps, State of Art Winter Guard, and the Spartan Marching Band Color Guard. 

Chloe has most recently been an instructor for State of Art Winter Guard and is greatly looking forward to joining the GBHS Color Guard program this year. She is passionate about fostering a productive and fun learning environment and is super excited to see the team grow as performers and people throughout the season!

Ryleigh Hayes graduated from GBHS in 2021 and is a marching band alumni. She marched in the Color Guard and Winter Guard from 2017-2020. This is her second year coaching at GBHS. 

Ryleigh began her love for teaching at the Grand Blanc West middle school Drama club. She Volunteered from 2017-2024 becoming assistant director along the way. She enjoys bringing a positive learning atmosphere and her love for performing. Outside of marching band, Ryleigh enjoys engaging in activities such as theatre, camping, and hiking.
