Choose one day or a few days to track how you are spending your time.
List the length of time the activity occurred
List what the activity was
Write down how you felt while doing this activity
Write down the value you placed on this activity (high, medium, low, neutral)
Once you have tracked your time, consider the following questions:
How much time are you spending on low-value activities versus high-value activities?
Do your values reflect the amount of time spent?
When are you most energized?
When are you most tired?
What activities contribute to positive emotions? Negative emotions?
How do your feelings relate to your values? When you're doing something that feels good, do you place a high value on this activity?
Does your weekday audit differ from your weekend day audit?
Choose one day or a few days to track how you are spending your time.

Write down your level of esteem for this activity.
Once you have tracked your time, consider the following questions:
What activities produced high-esteem thinking? What makes you feel your best?
What activities resulted in low-esteem thinking? Did anything surprise you?
Are you thoughts more positive or negative when you're at work?
What about when you're at home? Why?
How does this make you feel?
What activities make you feel more negative?
Is there a way to change these activities or to engage in them less often?
What activities help you feel your best? Where do you truly shine?
Can you engage in these activities more often?

What contributes to your positive emotions? What activities make you feel negative emotions?
How are your feelings related to your values now?
