Climbing Programme Information
Overview:
The UWCSEA Climbing programme focuses on climbing techniques and skills for different levels and abilities. We work on improving overall awareness of safety on and off the wall. Students will work on personal goals and also train as a team. They will also practice belaying in a controlled environment. Climbing at UWCSEA offers a range of pathways to provide opportunities based on student interest and abilities.
Climbers will be encouraged to ‘train with purpose’ and this involves guided play using questions and direct instruction to promote technical understanding and skills development.
