Below are the college wide expectations for behaviour. At the bare minimum, review the below with the students but I would prefer it tutors made it specific to your department/course; providing examples where issues might arise, for example, changing into correct PPE before the lesson so that they aren’t late. What course expectations do you have? What group expectations do you have? How do you and your students help to build and enriching learning environment?

• Comply with College rules and regulations - including wearing lanyards

• Treat all staff, students and visitors with respect;

• Punctually attend all sessions on timetable;

• Complete homework and assignments on timetable;

• Actively participate in learning;

• Act safely at all times.

Ultimately, you are responsible for your success at SNC and communicating your worries, anxieties or concerns with staff will make a big difference.
