Maths and English is part of your vocational study, same as Games Design!
Passing Maths and English GCSE is a requirement of most jobs and Uni courses, so study hard whilst you are at SNC!
Below are the college wide expectations for behaviour. At the bare minimum, review the below with the students but I would prefer it tutors made it specific to your department/course; providing examples where issues might arise, for example, changing into correct PPE before the lesson so that they aren’t late. What course expectations do you have? What group expectations do you have? How do you and your students help to build and enriching learning environment?
Comply with College rules and regulations - including wearing lanyards
Treat all staff, students and visitors with respect;
Punctually attend all sessions on timetable;
Complete homework and assignments on timetable;
Actively participate in learning;
Act safely at all times.
Ultimately, you are responsible for your success at SNC and communicating your worries, anxieties or concerns with staff will make a big difference.

Your work experience forms part of your vocational course. We usually support this within the course, but you may be required to find additional work experience throughout the year.
Working independently is an essential workplace skill and some of the STEPS TO SUCCESS need you to do just that
You have a Virtual Induction you must complete as well.
You’ll be expected to read through the website and complete a google quiz. This tells us you’ve done it and proves to us, you’ve got what it takes to be successful.
