When doing your screen shots or gifs, you should clearly show:
You should highlight the button, menu or dialog box you are using.
This should show building up what ever you are creating.
This could be the process of using a drawing tool or building up a script.Show the game with the new element added.
With each set of screenshots/gifs you will need to explain:
This should be a short description of what you have done.
This should be an analysis and prove your subject knowledge. Use the correct terminology.
This is the big one! Everything you do should relate DIRECTLY to the final outcome!
The toolbar allows us to manipulate objects in the 3D space. These include:
Hand Tool - Moves the scene Camera.
Move Tool - Moves the objects.
Rotate Tool - Rotates objects.
Scale Tool - Stretches the objects.
Here is a gif showing moving the camera, moving objects, scaling the objects and rotating.
We can use these tools to build up levels including building walls and floors, as different platforms and other objects. This can be used to build up interesting levels.
Here I have built a cliff face with platforms in front of it as the start of level.
I have used a large cube as a cliff face. Sticking out of this there are a number of smaller cubes used as platforms for the player to jump over.
This is the start of an environment that can be climbed by the player.
I am making a larger environment where the player travels across a beach, up a cliff and to a castle. This should fit into the story of the game well and will create a challenging environment where the player can die easily if they make a mistake.
Note - This is a very simple tool, I would expect more detailed write ups for other tools.
