Rationale
Who, What, Where, When, Why, & How
Who: The client(s) of my agenda are the efficiency and appeal of TMS student body (grades 7-12), Ms.Thomas, and Ms.Wong (heads of TMS). Ms.Thomas and Ms.Wong are in charge of choosing the TMS agenda cover for the 2023-2024 school year.
What: The final product will be a solution that unites both the TMS faculty as well as the TMS student body and will provide a fun way for TMS students to develop their organizational skills.
When: This product will be used for the 2023-2024 school year. The final product will be due for client review during the final week of May 2023.
Where: This product will be used for the TMS Elgin Mills school campus.
Why: The purpose of this product is to capture student life well and inspire students to use it. This way, students are able to better maintain their organizational habits as IB learners.
How: Using the design cycle, I will create a solution that effectively encaptures the TMS brand and experience. It will have an aesthetic and professional-looking design with high attention to detail as a whole and will be created using Adobe Illustrator. I will create it also taking into account peer and teacher (Ms.Wong, Ms.Bowker) feedback.

Product Analysis:
Design Brief
Based on my analysis of existing products, a good agenda has a modern and abstract style, has the houses' logos, includes the house colour scheme, has the name of the designer on the cover, has the school's slogan and the title at the top. Based on the clients' opinion, the ideal agenda would have the TMS logo and colours (navy, gold, grey, white, green), the title on either the bottom or middle, either patterns or solid colour, and the name of designer on the front cover. While the student body has contrasting opinions on what the cover should look like, the final product should incorporate not only the client's vision but also influences of the student body's opinions as well. By analyzing existing products, the weakest part about the agendas were that they didn't seem to have a link or strong connection to the school itself; it didn't seem very personal and were not aesthetically pleasing. Without a strong link to the school, the client is left out and the product is not very effective, nor does it illustrate the identity of TMS.
