My Final Film Trailer

In terms of graphic elements, our title was changed to “The Forest” as opposed to a longer title (as I had written in my design specifications) because a shorter title was deemed more effective, as a shorter title would be more memorable to viewers. In terms of video elements, we decided to mainly use high side lighting to create a serious tone, thus solidifying the fact that this issue should not be taken lightly. Mainly wide shots were used when speaking of the damage to the forest and in our interview with Mr.Bohte, a side interview angle was used for a larger variety in camera angles. In terms of audio elements, we chose, instead of peaceful music when showing the beauty of the Amazon, to use traditional Brazilian music of Sérgio Mendes, because it better highlights the rich culture and history of this forest.
