Responsible for the overall functioning and development of the MFT Department; oversees the accreditation process, writes annual reports, and maintains an on-going liaison with the Commission on Accreditation and with AAMFT national office; oversees advising, evaluates programs of study, prepares annual Departmental reports to the College; coordinates the development of MFT curriculum, course scheduling, and faculty assignment; updates the Department manual and oversees the development of all Department materials; guides the faculty in long-ranging planning; communicates Department needs to the Dean of the College and Dean of the Graduate School; informs students and faculty about available awards and prizes (e.g., University Fellowships, Teaching Fellows, Outstanding TA Awards, AAMFT awards) and facilitates application; assists students in finding financial aid; works with the Clinic Director and the Director of Research to facilitate the clinical training and research components and ensures effective maintenance of necessary records; and ensures ongoing maintenance of student and Department files.
Serves as the receptionist and intake coordinator for the Couple and Family Center. Duties include handling client intake calls, assisting with calendar and computer issues, taking supply requests, and assisting with preparation of department reports and events. The Clinic Admin Assistant also supports administrative tasks within the Department related to accreditation.
Responsible for the MA academic programs and ensuring its compliance with accreditation requirements; Monitors the satisfactory progress of M.A.. students, and interfaces with Graduate Advising and Certification personnel in the Graduate School; Teaches a number of MFT courses

The Clinic Director oversees clinical training of the students, assigns cases, and provides clinical supervision for students seeing clients at the Center; teaches Practicum courses and receives end-of-term evaluations from students and supervisors. Supervisor of students on the Transgender Affirmative Support Team. Other duties include working with the Clinic, and Supervision Committees, and providing stewardship to the records of the Center.
